You get hundreds of calls a year asking for a doctor. We can take that off your plate.
Our sole purpose is to educate union members and make them aware that clinics experienced in OWCP exist and can help them. There is no charge to the union, and nothing we want in return.
What we are not asking you for
Union leadership is approached constantly by people who want something. So it is worth being blunt about what this is not.
- We do not solicit unions for referrals.
- We do not pay unions for referrals.
- We do not seek to form any type of business relationship or endorsement with unions.
- We do not charge federal unions for our assistance.
Our sole purpose is to educate and make union members aware that OWCP clinics exist and can help them.
We are not competition for your OWCP staff
We fully understand that many unions have OWCP departments and dedicated staff members. We are not looking to replace any of them, and we are not competition for the union.
We aim to be a bridge between unions and the medical clinics that can help members. A huge complaint from injured federal employees is the lack of treating physicians. That is the problem we want to reduce.
The call you no longer have to field
As a union, you receive hundreds of calls each year from injured employees seeking help finding a qualified treating physician. It is time-consuming work, and it rarely ends with a name you feel confident giving out.
We can take that task off your plate. Your member still comes to you first. They simply leave the call with somewhere to go.
What it costs your members
Nothing. Partner clinics do not charge injured federal employees for their services: no out-of-pocket expenses and no co-pays. They bill the Department of Labor directly, and are not reimbursed unless there is an accepted claim.
