Accessibility statement
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That matters more than usual here: the people this site is for are often injured, in pain, and using a phone.
What that means in practice
- Every colour pairing on the site was measured against the AA thresholds, not assumed. Body text sits at 7.36:1 on white, well past the 4.5:1 requirement.
- Body text is never smaller than 16px, and the whole site can be zoomed to 200% without losing content or breaking the layout.
- The site works with the keyboard alone. Focus is always visible, never removed, and a skip link takes you straight to the main content.
- Buttons and links are at least 48px tall, so they can be hit reliably on a phone, one-handed.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than shown only by colour.
- Headings run in order, so a screen reader can navigate the page by structure.
- Animation is minimal, and stops entirely if your device asks for reduced motion.
Where we know we are not finished
Photography and video are still being added. When they are, images will carry descriptive alternative text and videos will carry captions. If a video appears here without captions, that is a gap and we want to hear about it.
